Strip heating elements are used as radiant heat sources in thermoforming ovens, plastic welding presses, and pre-heating stations. SAWHEAT's bright-annealed FeCrAl strip radiates predominantly in the near-infrared band when operated at 800–1100 °C surface temperature.
